Privacy Policy
What we collect
When you use BeachVolleyballAI, we collect:
- Email address: To identify your account and send notifications
- Videos: Your match videos and analysis results (tracks, stats, highlights)
- Profile info: Display name, skill level, birthday (if you set them)
- Login info: Google account name/email, or Telegram ID (we don't store your password)
How we use your data
- Process your videos to analyze matches
- Train and improve our models (only if you enable it in settings)
- Send you updates about your matches
- Prevent abuse and keep the service safe
Who we work with
To deliver the service, we send your data to:
- Cloudflare: Hosts our website and manages access (authentication)
- Google: If you sign in with Google, we get your name and email
- Telegram: If you sign in with Telegram, we get your Telegram ID
- RunPod: Runs our video processing on their servers
- SendGrid: Delivers our emails to you when Cloudflare's mail service is unavailable
- Stripe: Processes payments if you buy a paid plan
- YouTube (Google): If we publish a highlight clip from your match on our channel, that clip is uploaded to YouTube. We ask you before publishing anything from your match
- OpenAI: When we publish such a clip, its title and caption may be written by OpenAI from the clip's facts only: rally number or number of rallies, clip length, number of touches, venue and match date. No video, names or email addresses are sent
- Google Fonts: Our pages load fonts from Google, so your browser's IP address reaches Google
We don't sell or share your data with anyone else.
Who can see your data
Your matches are visible to your signed-in account and to platform operators as needed for support and abuse prevention.
How long we keep your data
- Video files: Original uploaded videos are deleted automatically 30 days after upload
- Analysis results: Kept until you delete the match
- Email and profile: Kept while your account exists
Your rights
You can:
- Download your data: Request all your matches and results
- Delete your account: We'll remove all your data
- Turn off training: Stop your videos being used to train models (toggle in profile)
- Withdraw consent: Change your mind at any time

Signing in
We use Cloudflare Access for authentication. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, your Google account, or Telegram. We don't store passwords.
With Google, we receive only your name and email address. Your email identifies your account; we do not store your name from Google, request access to anything else in your Google account, or use Google data for advertising.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Analytics to understand how many people use the service. No cookies for advertising or tracking you personally.
How we handle videos in training
By default, we use your videos to train our models:
- Frames and tracked player positions go into our training dataset
- This helps improve ball detection and other models
- You can disable this anytime in your profile — future videos won't be included
- Past training data isn't "unlearned" (that's not how neural networks work)
